Yellow Rose




Yellow Rose has a sense of friendship, joy and healing. Around the 18th century, yellow roses found growing naturally in the Middle East region. When first introduced these flowers, yellow roses popularity quickly spread.

Throughout history, the color yellow has been closely associated with the sun. As a source of light and warmth, the sun is an integral part of life on Earth, and has been worshiped in many ancient societies. Should come as no surprise that the color of the sun would hold many positive connotations. In many Eastern cultures, for example, the color yellow represents joy, wisdom and strength. However, in Europe at the time of introduction of these roses, the color yellow carried much more negative tone. As a result, this yellow rose long been used as a symbol for jealousy and dying love. Over time, more universal meaning associated with the color yellow, yellow roses today more often associated with joy and friendship.
